Hello friends

Quick one today.

I’m writing this week’s newsletter sitting at a picnic table under a white gazebo in the grounds of Staunton Harold Hall Estate.

This may conjure up an image of a bright English summer’s day but of course it’s actually 6 degrees, cloudy and cheesy Christmas muzak fills the air.

The first two days of this artisan market have been fun even if we could have done with a few more visitors.

I’m told that today and tomorrow are a sell out, so here’s hoping for bumper sales.

Tim, Yvonne and Adam set up the Chatsworth stand yesterday and that all gets going today with a friend of ours running the stand for a couple of days.

Just two more markets to set up next week…

“Spitfire into the Sun”

A few years ago when VMC sold kits wholesale to gift shops, we used to attend various UK trade shows - Spring Fair, Autumn Fair and Harrogate Home & Gift if you must know.

At one of these we met John Reynolds who produces beautiful handmade screen prints of licensed comic book panels.

He has rights to various comics like Beano, Asterix and numerous old war comics.

He contacted us last week to as he had a few remaining “Spitfire into the Sun” prints and wondered whether we might like to offer them to our customers.

This was a limited, signed edition of 200 - all beautifully printed on cotton paper that measures 26 cms x 19 cms and supplied in a card backed cellophane wrapper, ready for framing.

These usually sell for over £50 but we’ve managed to get a deal to offer them to you at just £42 including free UK delivery.
