It's a very simple newsletter this week.

The long awaited 22" (560mm) wing span, rubber-powered, free-flight Westland Lysander kit is released today!

All that remains is for me to thank a number of people involved in producing this kit.
 
First, Andrew Darby who designed the kit - I think this might just be his best yet.
 
Second, Chris Long who produced the vac-form moulds (twice after we cocked up the first set while making the vac-forming tray... 😱)
 
Third, Barry Scollay whose beautifully finished RC conversion on a pre-production model featured on our Facebook Group has led to so much extra interest.
 
And finally, to Yvonne and Ash in the workshop who have been flat out making the kits during our busiest time of the year.

P.S. We've had some enquiries about an RC conversion pack for the Lysander kit. It's something we may look at in the future, however if you consider just how much an experienced modeller like Barry had to modify the structure to make it work, I'm not sure there's enough of a demand to justify a "works" conversion kit at the moment.
